Happy Birthday, Doreman.
Hope you had a wonderful birthday. What a good looking and wonderful family you have (including cousins). Really enjoyed looking at the old photos, brings back a lot of memories. Where have all the years gone? Seems like yesterday we were at grandmothers wearing our clothes backwards (I do have photos of this).
Hope you have 70 more great birthdays,

Mike and Sammie

Doreman, you are one of a kind and a great cousin! When we were growing up you were always so kind to me and my sisters....which I am sure was not easy given the fact that during that part of our life I am fairly certain we were part Aboringine. So happy you have had such a blessed life with a wonderful family. Happy Birthday!

After speaking with Dee, I think I need to clarify - It was only me who had the Aboringine traits - not my sisters - I tend to agree with her.
Secondly, in the card game of life...One of a kind beats an Ace in the hole any day....hope this brings you a chuckle!

Want to wish you a very special and the Happiest of Birthdays! I enjoyed all the pictures and the write up of your book of life.
I know I have many great memories with you and Aunt Sheri. Spent summers with y'all in Lubbock & New Mexico and was entertained well... While in Lubbock I enjoyed hanging out with Aunt Sheri at "All That Jazz" & I will never forget drinking a tablespoon of vinegar after supper one night when aunt Sheri was sure about the pork she cooked and you both loving your bowl of fresh Cherries while watching tv at night, playing games at mellisa & downeys & picnics.
New Mexico great times in the mountains hiking, shopping, art gallery's... Many great memories I have in my heart!
I Love You Uncle Doorman & I Hope You Have A Wonderful Birthday!!!

Dad..I've been packing and came across an index card of something Brodey(when he was about 6) was telling Colton about you:
"You'll like him. He's a great republican and he really likes kids. You need to meet him. He's really cool. He always orders pizza, and usually takes me to the mall. We go hiking. We shoot the pellet gun. He let's me download anything ." What a Grandad!

Hey Mr. (Anyone who's reached 3 score and 10 surely falls into the "Mr" category) Burns! Hope it's a great birthday. All of those with zeros on the end are a little traumatic but that 70 has special significance, no? Seems like years since we saw you guys even if only a few months. Think you better make a South Texas trip pretty soon. Kenda says she promises not to throw up if you say you're coming. Love you much and again, happy B-day!

Hey Dorman, 70 HUH?, Wow, If it weren't for you I would still have a couple hundred bucks to spend. But that music store saw me coming. Have a great birthday, and thanks for letting me spend all those hours in your store.Just for thought, I don't think I have ever seen you, when you were not smiling. Keep on friend!!

Doreman,
Thank you for being you.
More than once I have walked into a business of a friends and your
artwork is on the wall. It makes their day (and mine too) when I tell them what an awesome person you are. I'm blessed to be able to say that and it be so true. You bless all our lives. I cherish the time I have had with you and I love your laugh.

Hey Doreman- Congrats on making the big 7-Oh! You are the oldest hippie I know, and you like to do your own thing, your own way, like wearing your shirt backwards. I love your unique sense of humor and your laid back style. Now, let's go for the big 8-oh !!!!

Oh my goodness! How can you be 70 when I am still 35? (I wish). My fondest memory of you and Sheri was renting videos (VHS back then) and spending Friday nights with ya'll (Sheri usually falling asleep midway through the movie!). Your precious kids would come home from their dates or wherever they had been and I thought then, if my family ends up half as sweet as yours I have struck gold!

I always knew when you and Bill were on the phone with each other because there was a laugh that he had that I never heard unless the two of you were talking. I can honestly say, we NEVER had better "couple" friends than the two of you. Even though it has been over 20 years since we have seen you in person, you always have held a very special place in our hearts.
I might also add that when Rachel moved out, she decided to get back to her Texas roots and has some of your art work (on loan) proudly displayed in her first home away from home.

I hope you had a terrific birthday.

Ski trips in the 15 passenger van (now that I have 13,16 & an 18 year old I PRAISE you even more) & what really makes me smile was your laugh while you watched Bob Newhart everynight :) You have a FANTASTIC laught!!!!Love you and Happy Birthday!

Hey Dorman Happy Birthday my friend. It was fun reading about you and learning new things, actually I could add a few stories if you want me to spice up your past a bit. But then I'm afraid there would be a pay back time for me. So you were always such a nice young man and a great example to us all. Its always great to see and visit with you and your lovely bride.Lets keep in touch.

Happy Birthday, Doreman....
Can't believe the years have passed by so fast and that we are in our 70's now.. Just returned from Red River and saw some of your paintings in a shop there. You haven't lost your touch...They were great. Also enjoyed seeing the beautiful pictures of your family on the website and the old pictures brought back a lot of memories.. If you and Sherry are ever passing through Amarillo, please stop by to see us....
